[Aniwow! 2009] 4th China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival "White Poplar Award" Calling for Enties

[Aniwow! 2009] selection cont has been calling for entries facing university students/college students from all over the world since June, and it will continue to September 28th.

China (Beijing) International Student Animation Festival is a yearly international pageant, which is organized by CUC, supported by nine ministries and commissions as well as professional institutions, undertaken by Animation School of CUC. As one of the main activities of past animation, the selection of White Poplar Award is aimed at encouraging the young animation directors with innovation, passion and artistic talent in the animation, comic art and new media area. Over the last three years, White Poplar Award, with its authority, originality, technicality and internationality, had gained good remark and praise from home and abroad’s animation, besides, it had got well reaction from the society.

For this White Poplar Award for international university students, we set up four categories with 16 subentries, such as Animation, VFX, Interactive Design, and Comic Art & Illustration. By then, we will invite many domestic and international highly renowned experts, veterans of the industry and related high-level people from media field who are specialized in animation, digital arts and interactive entertainment to constitute the jury, which will obey the rules of fairness and equity to give the assessment.

All the participants need to land the website http://www.aniwow-online.com to register for the animation festival by filling in the application form online, no registration fee is required. [Aniwow! 2009] will provide two ways of work-delivery, online FTP upload and data DVD disc mailing.
